Monochrome styling is always in. The trick is to pair the right pieces together, without overdoing anything. We’ve done all the work for you in this chic & feminine monochrome look that exudes sophistication. We saw a lot of monochromes last year, but the lasting impact was definately created at the US President’s Inauguration ceremony where all the leading women in politics wore some divine monochromes. Jill Biden took our breath away in that blue tweed look.
We’ve done many spring looks earlier too and found you some amazing footwear, accessories & clothing to bring a splash of color back into your wardrobe. In case you missed those edits, you can go here (Spring blazers & 5 Flats for Spring). This week we have a completey new take on spring styling. It’s colourful yes, but in a subtle way. A classy & refined look that you can carry to work, meetings, and even informal affairs.
We start to build this look by picking a matching blazer & pant duo by Veronica Beard cut in blush twill. It is a refreshing color to wear in gorgeous spring weather. The blazer can be worn as a set with the pants & will look equally chic paired with some ripped jeans and pumps for a dinner out. A matching satin top by Max Mara completes the set. It’s the kind of color that would look great paired with gold & silver jewels or even pearls.
To add some knockout accessories, we add the buzzing Raffia mules by Bottega Veneta. They are made in the brands signature intrecciatio weave but have an earthy vibe because of the material used. Add some clean bling by Eéra and you’re already looking like a million bucks. The Eéra earrings are modern and the string of crystals totally uplifts the whole look.
Our heart, however, has settled on the bag that we will be adding to the look. The Valentino Rockstud medium leather tote in the softest pink hue is a sight for sore eyes. It should be hung on a wall and admired for being so simple and so, so perfect. You can shop this prize of a bag right here, right now.
