Inauguration 2021 Fashion - Monochromes in Power!
Monochromes seem to be the order of the day as First Lady Jill Biden, Vice President Kamala Harris, Former First Lady Michelle Obama, Hilary Clinton & J Lo amongst others chose to keep their looks refined and in single tones for the Inauguration Ceremony 2021. The powerful women made a statement by choosing younger brands and black designers. Jill Biden wore a stunning teal tweed coat and matching dress with velvet lapels and a swarovski pearl & crystal neckline. Her dress was by a young New York based label, “Markarian” and they did a mighty good job of making her look every bit ready for the role she is about to take on. Vice President, Harris wore a striking purple coat and dress by black designer Christopher John Rogers. Everyone’s favourite White House girl, Michelle Obama wore a stunning plum toned ensemble by LA based black designer, Sergio Hudson. They certainly made a statement with their choices and the colors they wore. It’s safe to say, the internet seems to be loving their looks. There’s something so simple yet elegant about a one-tone dress. We’re feeling very inspired and have some beautiful pieces in Lavender for you down below. All designs linked below. See, shop, wear! 🛍
