Launched in 2011, what started as a wedding gift of cufflinks to her brother, soon turned into an eponymous line by Begum Khan. Being the daughter of an Ottoman art collector, she was surrounded by ancient art pieces since her childhood. Now, looking at the jewelry pieces, one can clearly see the influence of the olden Ottoman Empire and South-East-Asian culture. Each piece is crafted by hand just outside of Istanbul, carefully capturing the ancient vibe of Tibetan culture, old religious talismans and Turkey?s S?lemaniye mosque. Each piece, even though takes it?s inspiration from ancient ornamentation, still feel fresh and modern. The edit we have created has some of the finest pieces by the label.
